Clapp Moroney is a civil litigation firm that serves the greater Bay Area as well as Fresno, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and other California counties. Since its inception in 1980, Clapp Moroney has received numerous awards and recognitions including being named one of the top-ranked defense firms in the State of California by the Daily Journal. With 38 lawyers who practice all throughout California, providing clients with vast trial experience and a wide array of expertise, Clapp Moroney needed a central office that was conducive for both the attorneys and clients. That is why they came to Interior Motions.
One of the primary challenges of this project was the fact that the office needed to be simultaneously sophisticated yet welcoming, calming yet energizing, spacious yet practical, and collaborative yet functional. Additionally, it had to be completed on a tight timeline and budget.
Our Solution:
In order to meet the client’s needs, our team looked to our go-to manufacturer: MillerKnoll. For the workstations, we opted for sit-to-stand desks that would enable employees to work more ergonomically. For the collaborative areas, we specified products––like the beautiful blue Swoop Chairs––that would make a statement without overpowering the room. Finally, we selected a sleek and clean color palette of blues, grays, and warm wood tones.
The Outcome:
The end result was a beautiful new office that left the client swooning. They were thrilled with the cohesive look of the furniture coupled with the subtle color palette. Now, the attorneys of Clapp Moroney can focus on their cases and not their office furniture.
