Unsurprisingly, merging company cultures can be difficult when trying to build a cohesive office space. Metcon wanted an open floor plan to encourage collaboration amongst team members, a small footprint to create workflow, and an emphasis on functionality as well as aesthetics. Interior Motions happily obliged.
Our Solution:
To accomplish these goals, Interior Motions interviewed the employees to determine what was absolutely essential to their ideal workstations. We also inquired about the ideal layout between departments, so that departments in frequent communication could be close in proximity. With that information in mind, Interior Motions reduced the furniture footprint of each user and constructed a logical floor plan.
The Outcome:
The outcome was a beautiful space that provided each employee with exactly what they needed––whether that was a decluttered workspace, easy access to other employees, or simply an inviting office to walk into everyday. Now, Metcon has a functional space that showcases their amazing company culture.
