Adamas Pharmaceuticals is a passionate, purpose-driven company focused on improving the lives of people affected by neurological diseases like Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, and dementia. Their experts in drug discovery, development, and commercialization deliver cutting-edge treatments that significantly boost quality-of-life for patients and their caregivers. They are data-driven, supportive, and challenge each other to adapt and question assumptions. Adamas Pharmaceuticals wanted an office layout that supported this type of work culture. We love working with San Francisco Bay Area innovators, so we were thrilled when they called upon Interior Motions to assist with their office interior design project.

Our Challenge:

Adamas Pharmaceuticals had invested in a space with amazing waterfront views of the Bay Bridge. They wanted all employees to enjoy the view, with outward-facing cubicles and all-hands meeting spaces. They also needed furniture that was reflective of company culture and able to expand rapidly along with their quick-growing enterprise. As with any project, we needed to stick to a short timeline and reasonable budget. Fortunately, creative problem-solving on a tight schedule is our specialty.

Our Solution:

Interior Motions began by interviewing each team member to determine their individual needs and ideal proximity to different departments. Storage was an important consideration, given the nature of their work. We consulted with the architect to devise creative solutions and built individual workstations that provided amazing views, all while maintaining privacy and flexible sit/stand functionality. The white tables and desks reflected the natural lighting, while cubicle accents in deep marine blue and break room chairs in bright green provided pops of color.

The Outcome:

We had an amazing time working with the Adamas team to make their office space stunning, edgy, and colorful. The client was very happy with the vibrant, yet professional, office interior design we developed. They felt the furniture told the story of their brand and loved how the layout maximized views for all employees.
