SMACNA

UPGRADE AND MODERNIZE OFFICE

SMACNA, The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association, is a trade association spanning over 100 chapters and representing over 3,500 signatory contracting firms. Their innovative standards approach enables them to reduce costs, anticipate technical requirements, increase productivity, and improve efficiency, thus promoting quality and excellence in the sheet metal and air conditioning industry. When SMACNA was renovating their offices in Pleasanton, they turned to Interior Motions to help them create a modern yet inviting workplace for employees and clients.

Our Challenge:

SMACNA wanted to select furniture that was not only beautiful to look at but that could withstand the test of time without breaking the bank. Luckily, Interior Motions’ Retail Furniture Outlet in Emeryville was able to supply an assortment of new and pre-owned pieces that fulfilled SMACNA’s needs.

Our Solution:

Interior Motions opted for furniture pieces that were simultaneously comfortable and cozy yet modern and sleek. For example, we paired the modern white marble countertops with a bright and inviting red barstool. We also chose contemporary training tables to complement the traditional bookcases in the training room.

The Outcome:

The end result was a beautiful new office that made the SMACNA employees proud when walking through the front doors. The pops of red throughout the space radiated a lively energy while the acoustic elements added dynamic architectural elements.
